Unicorn Horn Tutorial

Supplies

Set your oven to 275 degrees F. Take out a small amount of super sculpy (About the size of the one in the picture)and work it until it's soft, then roll it into a ball.
On your palm, roll the ball into rope. Make sure the rope is fat in the middle and thin on the ends (See pic) or your horn will look like a really twisty log.
Lay your rope on your pony's forehead (Make sure it's centered) just in front of the hair plug holes.
Using your pinky finger, squish the center of the rope to the head.
Pull up the sides of the rope (Careful. Don't squish them) so it looks like antenna.
Twist the sides together. Again, be careful not to squish them. Close up the bottom.
Finish twisting the ends. Make sure by the time you're done you have a nice, pointy tip. Now it's time for the water (Rubbing alcohol works best, but I'm lazy. ^_~). Wet your index finger and use it to smooth down the bottom of the horn until it's flush with the head.
You should remove the magnet from the pony's hoof so it doesn't do a bubblegum impression in the oven. I'm lazy, so I leave it in unless the pony's pose takes the magnet off the tray. This seems to work just fine for keeping it flat for me (It will flatten out and utterly destroy the raised MLP stamp symbol though). So to be safest you prolly should take it out.

I never remove the head for baking and I haven't had any problems. So keeping the head on or not is your choice. But I will say that taking the head off means there's a danger that it might not go back on the body correctly once it cools.

Bake your pony in the oven (On a metal tray) for fifteen minutes. Take your pony out. The horn will be a little flexible. This is normal. It will harden completely in about five minutes. After that time is up you're ready to paint! ^_^\/
