Stripping a Pony

How to take off the symbols and eyes.

Symbol removal is a lot simpler than a lot of people make it out to be. Also, I feel I must mention that, unless you plan to do something drasticly different with the eyes, you should leave them alone. It makes it much easier to repaint them in the color you want later on.

First, get out your Acetone. Please be aware that Onyx has recently changed it's look. I will post a pic of the new bottle soon. It has a red cap.
HHHHHHHHHHHHH
Take a Q-tip and dip it in the Acetone so that it is soaked on one end. Put the cap back on the acetone (This is very important because Acetone evaporates extremly fast. Not to mention the fumes would start to give you a headache). Take the Q-tip and rub it over the symbol. It should start to come off easily.
Use the same side of the Q-tip until it stops taking off the symbol. Wet the other side and repeat the process. Keep doing this until the symbol is completely removed. I've never had to use more than 2 or 3 Q-tips per symbol. As for the eyes, just do the same thing you did with the symbol. The only extra tip I would give for the eyes is that getting in all the cracks of them is a little tricky, so you should squeeze the head so that the eye bulges out a bit. This gives you a flatter surface to work with.
Now your pony is naked and bald. You cruel person you. Lol. Of course, if you're not rehairing, she's just naked.
