Puss in Boots

This is Puss in Boots from Shrek. The hat is made from apoxie sculpt over a wire mesh frame. It was sealed with a satin finish to give it a 'leather' look. The feather is real and held on by a tiny bit of apoxie sculpt (Gluing it on proved to be impossible).
For the mouth I carved away the plastic until I had a cat mouth shape and them smoothed out the imperfections with apoxie sculpt. The nose is apoxie sculpt.
His belt, boots and tail are apoxie sculpt.
I tried to blend his underbelly/feet/muzzle color with the rest as best I could. I used a sponge to get the effect.
