Monarch

This is Monarch. She was rerooted with black hair from Claires and red hair from a donor "My first Ariel" doll.
She was my first and only dye job. I will never do it again. I love the effect of a gradient, but it just takes way too long. She gradiates from a red orange to orange.
Her hooves were given black socks with white dot accents patterned after the markings of the monarch butterfly.
The eyes have been repainted green and have a mini gem on the light accents. Her eyes also have monarch butterfly wing markings. These took me 2 hours.
Her symbol is a monarch. At least, it's supposed to be. I got to this point and just couldn't do anymore as my hand was cramping from an hour and a half of tiny detail painting. My tennis elbow also didn't like it. Ow ow OW!
She is not for sale. Sorry guys. I love her too much.
