Everyone needs tools to create art. In this case your tools are computer programs. This guide tells you what you need to make an AMV.
1. An editing program- I suggest Adobe Premiere 6.5 or Premiere Elements. Windows Movie Maker is a popular choice for many editors, mainly because it's free (You can find guides on it here). It's a big pain to use so if you can get your hands on either version of Premiere I suggested you should do so. I use Premiere Elements and I'll be posting some guides on it at some point.
2. The AMV app- This is THE application package for all CMV or AMV editors. You need it to do just about everything in my guides. You can download it here.
3. An audio editing program- I suggest Audacity. It's free and it can code MP3s :)
4. A photo editor (For certain special effects)- Many people use Photoshop. It's a great program, but expensive. I use The Gimp. It's almost the same program as Photoshop and it's free. ^_^\/
